NOMINATION PROCESS

PUT YOUR FAVOURITES ON THE MAP

Nominations will be hosted through our Facebook page. each category will be posted, and you can comment below each post with the person, venue or business you wish to nominate in that category.

Nominations will be open to all members of the public, but limited to people who are in the region. We understand that it is difficult to completely enforce this measure, but as the organisers, we will do our very best to check the nominators. We kindly ask that you help us in this regard, by not asking family or friends who are out of region or overseas to nominate you or your business in the interest of making the awards as fair as possible.

Multiple nominations from one person are absolutely fine, but please submit them as separate comments on the post.

If you want to nominate without it being public, we would ask that you message us on the Facebook page, stating the category and who you wish to nominate.

Once the nomination period closes, we will count and tally all the nominations, and announce finalists, who will then go into final voting round.

VOTING PROCESS

DECIDING THE BEST OF THE BEST

The finalists for each category will be the 3 most nominated people, venues or businesses from the comments on the relevant posts. These finalists will be publicly announced through our Facebook, in the days before the final voting goes live.

The voting process will be hosted through a google form, which we will share the link to on the day that voting opens.

Voting is limited to people who work within the industry, for any business either in food or drink, the suppliers, or service businesses.

Each business will be capped at 5 individual voting chips, we will disregard any further votes that come from that business.

You cannot vote for yourself, or the business you work for, or for any other person within the business you work for.

Any voting form that we deem to have broken the rules laid out above, we will delete the entire form.
